Work in oil or acrylic from provided reference materials, learn the basics of color mixing, brush technique, composition and how to build a painting. Step-by-step demonstrations and one-on-one help. Three hours! Back by popular demand, this class will focus on painting faces in watercolor — drawing experience is not necessary. All new reference materials will be supplied. Knowledge of basic watercolor techniques is necessary. Through discussion, step-by-step demonstrations and personalized teaching, explore the anatomy of the head and its features with monochromatic and full color studies. You will learn a layering technique that takes much of the fear out of watercolor portraiture. $10 reference material fee due at first class – bring your own art supplies!
