Brenda’s paintings reflect a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature.  Brenda’s inspiration comes from her everyday life and the rural countryside surrounding her studio in Howard County, Maryland.  She works in oil, acrylic and watercolor. The subject matter of her paintings also varies, including landscape, wildlife, portrait, still life and floral. She has won numerous awards and her work has been exhibited throughout the US, including one-woman shows and major art exhibitions.
